Scholarship Application for ANA Summer Seminar 2010

The MNS is offering one full one session scholarship to attend the 2010 ANA Summer Seminar, held on the campus of The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO. The seminar offers 2 sessions from which to choose. Session one dates are Saturday, June 26 to Friday, July 2, 2010. Session two dates are Saturday, July 3 to Friday, July 9, 2010. The award of a scholarship carries a maximum value of $1100. $749 covers tuition which includes the class, double occupancy lodging in Loomis Dormitory for 6 nights, and 3 meals daily served at the Colorado College facility. The scholarship will also pay for airfare or driving expenses to a maximum of $351. Scholarship recipients can upgrade their room preference, attend various mini-seminars, and go on evening tours at their own expense. Applicants must be an MNS member of at least one year and complete this application. All applications can be turned in at the January meeting or mailed to the club’s address above (please write summer seminar on the envelope) by February 13, 2010. The officers and board of directors will decide on the winning applicants and announce them to the membership at the February meeting. Please note that attendees are required to join the ANA, if not already a member. The selected applicants are required to give an educational program at an MNS meeting or write an article for the Missouri Journal of Numismatics within one year of attending the seminar.
